For auction, a like new condition, Davidson Impulse Road/Racing Bicycle. This bike was custom/hand built sometime in the 1988-1990 time frame. I purchased it sometime in the 1999-2000 time frame from the Bellevue, Washington owner who had ordered it new. He had older/used Dura Ace parts fitted on to it and rode the “Seattle to Portland Ride” and than it hung on the inside of his garage wall until I bought it. I took all the parts off of it, cleaned/detailed it up and placed mint and NOS parts onto it. Its been displayed in my family rooms since (I road it once). It is equipped with a Shimano Dura Ace 7400 bottom bracket, headset, front derailleur, rear derailleur, and freewheel. It is equipped with Shimano Dura Ace 7401 shift levers and Dura Ace 7402 hubs, front and rear brakes, brake levers, and crank. All Dura Ace parts are NOS except for the mint condition headset and rear derailleur. This bike has the original paint, not a re-spray. If you have any questions, please call me at 859-219-9884. Local Pick-up is OK, would be a price reduction if you did so (I would not have to pack up). NOTE: Per an employee who worked with Davidson when this bike was built, he told me that this paint job was referred to as “Superfade” and that it was much more complicated to apply then was the standard, requiring the paint being mixed about 6 times to go from the silver to blue. There was also a price increase for the paint job. Definitely a good looking paint scheme. NOTE: Sorry, pedals not included. Will only ship to the continental USA. NOTE: It is 58 cm from center of crank to top of top tube. It is a little over 56 cm (22 1/8 inches) from center of seat tube to center of head tube, along center of top tube.
