Purchased new from Tarty Bikes in July 2020.This was my first ever trials bike; selling because I bought the 26 version called the Hex.The bike is mechanically and structurally sound. As a beginning trials rider, I wasnt exactly doing big gaps or anything. That said, trials bikes get scratched up a lot from low speed tumbles. So its got nicks and scratches all over from regular use. The non-drive side chain stay was scratched particularly badly, stripping off the paint down to the chrome undercoat. Just paint damage though. You can also see the paint pushing up near where the BB shell interfaces with the BB cup. Rust in stem bolts from my sweat. All in all, this bike is super fun. Its the most BMXey of all the bikes they make, and Ive jumped it and taken it to the pump track in addition to actual trials stuff. It has geometry very similar to a BMX street cruiser, and if it weren’t for the funky trials bars, it would look just like a BMX with hydraulic brakes. This is basically the stock “team edition” bike except:–It has the Magura MT7 Brake upgrade–I installed a longer stem (110 rather than the stock 90).–I installed the crank brothers Stamp pedals (size large)–Purple seat post to match pedals and stay strong BMX saddle. These cost $3000+. If you are comparing to prices on Tarty bikes, keep in mind that you have to pay both shipping and import duties on top of that price. There is no free lunch.
