Ibis Ripley 29 Carbon Mountain Bike Size XL 29″ Wheels and Tires This is a fantastic 29er mountain bike that can do it all! Just given a light tune-up; everything works great! Lightweight carbon frame with meticulously engineered suspension and components make this bike lightweight, nimble, and a joy to ride all over the trails. The Fox Float CTD Kashima fork and Fox Float CTD rear shock both offer 120mm of tunable travel to soak up the bumps and jumps. The SRAM shifter and XO rear derailleur shifts smooth though all 11 speeds and the wide-range rear cassette helps to climb even the steepest ascents. The always reliable Shimano XT hydraulic disc brakes work great and are there to slow you down in a hurry! The alloy rim and XT wheels roll true and smooth and come clad in Schwalbe Nobby Nic 29×2.35 rear and Tough Tom 29×2.6″ front tires with tons of life left. If things get a little too vertical or sketch for you, just drop the LEV dropper seatpost and get the confidence to clear the section with the added maneuvering room. This ride is ready to hit the dirt; just BYOHelmet and make sure to have the bike professionally assembled after shipping. Please see photos for components, condition, and details. Pedals ARE NOT included. Factory Description”Our goal was to bring the advantages of a 29 wheel to a lightweight, nimble and fun trailbike. We think 120mm of travel is the sweet spot for a snappy bike that isnt cumbersome or heavy. We also wanted the Ripley to be configurable for a wide range of terrain and riding styles, so we made it compatible with 120140 mm travel forks. We asked Dave Weagle (Mr. dw-link) to give the Ripley pedaling efficiency, XC-like acceleration and optimization for 29er specific gearing in addition to the usual dw-attributes such as excellent small bump compliance, predictable travel through the range with no wallowing or harsh bottom out. This version of the dw-link, like the ones hed done for us in the past, delivered on the promise.” Sizing & fit We can not tell you if this bike will fit you or not, but here is a factory geometry table to help. (Measurements may not be precise) Your bid is a contract. We’re too small of a business to have delays/cancelations from non-paying bidders and you will be reported and block from all our auctions. If you win/purchase and are new to ebay, please let us know so we can reconfirm some things with you after your purchase. Payment is due within 48 hours of auction end/buy-it-now. Bicycle will require professional reassembly after shipping. We repeat… BICYCLE WILL REQUIRE PROFESSIONAL REASSEMBLY AFTER SHIPPING. A few recent buyers did not seem to read that statement and had issues after “assembly”. We now repeat this bit of important information to make doubly clear you WILL need a professional to properly assemble the bike. We’d also recommend you use a pro to dial in your ideal riding position. We are not Walmart. We are not Amazon. We are a small but dedicated group of bike enthusiasts just trying to pay the bills our rather expensive hobby entails :). Thank you and good luck.
