Shimano EP8 Motor – 20 miles. This EP8 (EP800) came off my brand new YT Decoy. On my maiden voyage in Nov, the gears gave out. you can hear the motor spinning still, but no power to the wheels. Shimano sent a replacement motor to me immediately and a bike shop swapped out the bad motor. If youre handy or a mechanic and can fix it, youll have a brand new EP8 motor at less than half the cost.
