Vintage Ritchey Mountain Bike. Used and sold as is no returns. Please inspect pictures and ask questions if you have them. I just received confirmation from ritchey that this is a 1986 from ritchey. Front triangle was tig welded ar the toyo factory in japan,then shipped back to usa where Tom brazed the rear triangle and added brazed ons. Paint work was done by Rick stefani at d&d cycles. Paint and decals are original. Serial #719. I have written confirmation on above via email from ritchey. Bike may have came with slightly diferent parts or possibly upgraded soon after as pictured. This is the original fork though. Bars may be arlier 80s pre 83. Bike is absolutely gorgeous. I wouldn’t blame yiu if you decide to ride it though. That’s what utss mean for and it’s not gonna break. Or even the coolest resto mod or 1x build with tubless conversion potential. Hate saying it but would even be cool gravel build if that’s how you get your jingles. I personally prefer a mountain bike to be a mountain bike and a road bike to be a road bike. Or just hang it on wall Orr display in your living room. This bike will never loose value only do the opposite. I purchased this from original owner in the fall. He said it was a 1984 and some special pre accent version. I did not actually talk to Tom to confirm this. Either way this is a very very clean original. Like a unicorn these days to find. It’s been very well preserved by original umowner until I purchased it. Sadly I just don’t have the space to keep it. Besides it should be ridden or admired not hidden in my garage. If for whatever reason it doesn’t sell soon I will just keep it though or consider similar amount on another platform. Bike is complete minus chain and pedals. Build includes Specialized racing flag crankset,araya rm20 on xt hubs,strong seatpost,xt thumb shifters. Deer head front derailuer, xt rear. Shimano 600 headset. This is original paint and decals. It is very clean for a used mountain bike. There are no dents. I mean it is steel,and this is an arizona bike so there are no signs of rust. This is the original fork the bike came with. And original ritchey branded bullmoose handlebars still with nitto heat treated sticker on. Just to make it even better these are the aluminum ritchey bullmoose handlebars. Which are unobtanium anyplace on this planet earth for sale. Magura brake levers.araya rm rims on xt hubs.specializ3d race flag crankset. Deerhead front der and xt rear. Tires are also in very good condition and extremely rare world championship version richey tires . Tread is excellent there is no dry rot . If you are a collector these bars and tires should be enough for you. I will be sad to see this bike go. I’m just not in a position to have a bunch of collectable bikes at this time. Areas of scrapes are pictured. Largest being on toptube.all bearing are snooth,rims are tru,rim brake surface barely shows any wear. I have many more pics if you ask.
