Steintrikes velomobile tricycle.It typically costs over $5,000 just to have the inner recumbent trike shipped to the USA, this one has a removable aerodynamic body. (The copy is quotes is from Steintrikes’ website, describing the fully suspended trike that is inside of this velomobile.) “The Wild One, our fastest full suspended trike offers the highest level of comfort and unique safety reserves.Suspension we use is pre-load adjustable Coilovers with nitrogen charge, travel on all wheels is 100mm. This high-speed chassis is the reference among the full suspension trikes. The contact point with ground (track width) remains unchanged in complete suspension travel. No tire rubbing across the direction of travel, nothing slows the urge to move forward.The chassis is adapted to each customer using different spring hardnesses and seat sizes. In the urban jungle you can drive over 50mm vertical edges at full throttle without the driver noticing. The unique chassis design reacts extremely sensitively to all kinds of obstacles. No matter whether sharp edges, gravel, roots or badly lowered curbs, the Double Wishbone front axle swallows everything away. Even if you driving over a large bump in the forest at high speed and the trike taking off, the progressively front axle suspension design withstands the landing without the landing gear breaking through. I did cut-outs for feet in the bottom front, the sides of the windscreen for easier rider communication, and the sides for rider arms to protrude in comfort and so that it is safer to point and communicate with other riders/traffic. This is the only Steintrikes velomobile in the USA. The trike inside is like new. I added brand new heavy duty shocks (3) for heavier rider comfort. It does not show in the photos, but the pedal/crankset and boom are included. The aluminum hinge arms are included to allow the upper half of the body to tilt forward for easy entry/exit. The chain will probably need to be sized for the new rider and a new connecting chain link should be used. Bike has been stored away from weather.Pick up at my location in Oracle, Arizona is free. I am willing to deliver it to you for $2 per mile (one way), using my own delivery van, up to 600 miles distance. I will not crate and use a shipper.This is one cool ride, but I have too many hobbies!
