Mitch Pryor built this machine in 2012 as part of one of his project runs in his Portland OR shop. He did a number of these semi-custom runs where the customer got to choose from three colors and the size of seat and top tubes. There were usually about ten bikes in the run. Now that he is not building bikes, the ones that come up for sale are quite desirable. I hate to sell this bike because for one I really like it and two, I have many good memories on it. Oh and three, got compliments often when I was out and about on this bike. Why sell it then? I have been pulled in many different directions lately and havent had the time to ride this bike enough. Mitch would be the first person to say he would like to see this bike ridden. Highlights – The bike is built with bi-laminate construction. It has lugs but it also has fillet brazing on one side of the joint. Unusual and really cool and of course flawlessly executed by Mitch. The forks on all of Mitchs bikes have a perfect bend so look at that. The headtube extends well above the top tube lending itself to a more upright riding position favored by many riders today. Low rider racks, hand built, are a really nice feature along with the front rack. The constructeur built headlight mount on the front fender is a nice touch. The pinstriping was done by an expert borrowing a design from the 1950s. Size – Seat Tube = 57 cm C T C Top Tube = 54 cm C T C Please note Black Berthoud bags are for demonstration and NOT included in this sale. Lowrider racks are included.
